Sacred Heart Family, since I have been here and long before, this parish has always taken care of the Youth. No matter what program we offer: VBS, Retreats, Mission Trips, Group Fund and Service Trips, and so on. Any time we needed help with a fundraiser, monetary donations, donated items or just spending time with our young people, YOU ARE THERE!

This is a Spirit filled evening set aside during Advent amidst the hustle and bustle of the holiday season to reflect on the true meaning of Christmas. It includes readings, reflection and song. Please join us on Tuesday, December 6 at 6:00 PM in the Parish Hall.

What happens after we die? This is the question that is deep in the human heart and we have been asking that question since the dawn of time. Come learn more at this session being held Tuesday, November 8 from 6:30 - 8:00 PM in the Parish Center, Room B.

The partners with Prisca Sewing Group (formerly Outreach Sewing) will meet on Wednesday, September 28 in the Parish Hall from 12:30 - 3:00 PM. St. Prisca was a faithful friend of St. Paul and helped establish early Christian churches.

The Downriver Missionaries for Christ family is offering a 5-Week Series for Families after baptizing their children. Once your child is baptized, what’s next? These gatherings will give an opportunity to reflect on the promises you as parents made in baptizing your children as well as consider some practical tips around how to raise your children in the faith.

What does it mean to be a disciple of Jesus Christ? The Adult Faith Formation Committee will be offering a six-part study program through the Augustine Institute to break open what it means to be a true follower of Jesus and how you can move from simply being a “fan” to being a true disciple who has taken on the very likeness of Jesus Christ.

Our family of parishes, Downriver Vicariate Family 3, will now be known as Downriver Missionaries for Christ. Along with the new name, we have a new logo. We are excited about the name and logo and all it communicates about us as family – who we are and where we’re going!
