June 12, 2026Faith Formation Registration is Open!As requested by you, we are bringing back weekly in-person Catechesis on Mondays in the Fall. Class will be from 3:15 to 4:30 PM. Students who are registered and attend Grosse Ile Elementary on Parke Lane will be picked up after school at the Flagpole and walked over to the Parish Hall for snack and restroom break before class.
If you want a Monday weekly class but need a later time, then you could register your child for 6:00 PM class at Our Lady of the Woods in Woodhaven.
We already have catechists for grades 1, 2, and 4. We are looking for help for grade 5 and Kindergarten. All materials and training will be provided. Usually, we get a few teens to teach Kindergarten. If you know any teens that would have interest and may need Service Hours, please have them contact me.
Family Catechesis will still be offered on select Sundays at 3:30 PM (mostly twice a month). EDGE will also remain on select Sundays and Tuesdays.As we are still a part of Family of Parishes for the 2026/2027 school year, during the AOD restructuring, we will continue to offer Family Catechesis throughout the Family of Parishes. All the Parish offerings are in the link below. Please register early for planning and materials.
Register on or before August 31, 2026, to receive a $20 Early Bird discount per child.Please click on the button below to register your child(ren).
If you know someone who is behind on Sacraments or Faith Formation Grades, please have them reach out to me personally. We have several programs to assist depending on age and Sacraments needed. ALL Sacrament Preparation is a 2-to-3-year process in order to be properly prepared.
