As we enter the season of Advent—a season of hope, preparation, and joyful generosity—our Sacred Heart Catholic Community is once again invited to wrap our arms around children in need through the 17th Annual Jammie Drive.
Advent is a special time to experience our longing for the presence of Jesus right now, in all the areas that we need him the most. Let us look deeply within our hearts where Jesus has not been, where we have not allowed him access.

Besides prayerful meditation on Sacred Scripture and attentive listening when it is read at Mass, one of the most effective ways to grow in understanding and love for the Bible is to join a group that meets to discuss the Sunday Readings which will be proclaimed at the next Eucharistic liturgy.

If one member suffers in the body of Christ which is the Church, all the members suffer
with that member’ (1 Corinthians 12:26). For this reason, those who are baptized into
Christ and nourished at the same table of the Lord are responsible for one another….
So too when a member of Christ’s Body dies, the faithful are called to a ministry of
consolation to those who have suffered the loss of one whom they love.
As an added convenience, we are making requesting and making a donation for a Mass Intention available on our website. Simply fill out the form, enter the payment information and submit it.
