Our Sacred Heart Capital Campaign is off to a strong start. Thus far, parishioners have pledged or donated more than $810,000 in support of the campaign! We are at 92% of our goal. We appreciate your generosity.
The funds are needed to repair our Church Roof and Cupola, renovate and upgrade our Parish Hall, and repair and ultimately replace our Parking Lot.

Fr. Marc Gawronski was born and raised at St. Damian parish in Westland, Michigan. He is the fourth oldest of six children. Since the third grade, he recalls wanting to be a priest! Now, coming up on his 30th year of priesthood, Fr. Marc has enjoyed ministry and teaching in several different contexts. He is familiar with Downriver. 28 of those 30 years have been spent serving parishes between SW Detroit and Monroe!
Fr. Marc attended the University of Michigan, St. John’s Provincial Seminary in Plymouth Township and the University of Notre Dame. He was ordained June 29, 1991, and celebrated his first Mass at Guardian Angels Parish in Clawson.
