The Church celebrates several major feasts during the months of May and June during the Sunday Liturgies. In preparation for these feasts, we invite you to a prayerful, scriptural reflection and dialogue on these themes:
It is a centuries-old custom of Catholics to dedicate the month of May to the Blessed Virgin
Mary. The month of May is always a part of the Easter season. The fifty days that we celebrate
the Resurrection of Our Lord in the liturgy, is also a time of awaiting the outpouring of the Holy
Spirit at Pentecost.
