It is a centuries-old custom of Catholics to dedicate the month of May to the Blessed Virgin Mary. The month of May is always a part of the Easter season. The fifty days that we celebrate the Resurrection of Our Lord in the liturgy, is also a time of awaiting the outpouring of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost.

The next step in the Archdiocesan Restructuring process is for every parish in the Archdiocese of Detroit to host two parish listening sessions. At these sessions, we will review potential models and provide feedback.

Sacred Heart’s Life Teen Youth Ministry will be holding a bunk bed build event on Saturday, May 23 from 8:30 AM – 12:00 PM, to help local kids in need. All teens are welcome to join this wonderful ministry.

The school year is quickly coming to an end. And that means it's time for Vacation Bible School (VBS). This year VBS will be held at Sacred Heart from Monday, June 22 - Thursday, June 25 from 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM. The theme this year is Celebrating America's 250 Anniversary and God's blessings!
