The Archdiocese of Detroit is blessed to have 93 senior priests who are no longer assigned to parishes. Many of these men continue to give of themselves in countless ways of service for which we are most grateful. During Masses on September 28, our parish will take up a special collection to support the Priests' Pension Plan.

Besides prayerful meditation on Sacred Scripture and attentive listening when it is read at Mass, one of the most effective ways to grow in understanding and love for the Bible is to join a group that meets to discuss the Sunday Readings which will be proclaimed at the next Eucharistic liturgy.

Sales for both the outdoor niches and the indoor niches in St. Anne Chapel are ongoing. Please contact Mary Podczervinski at 734-676-1378 to make an appointment to purchase a niche or a Memorial Garden plot. Appointments may be scheduled Tuesday through Thursday from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

Sacred Heart is once again planning a fun, family night at the Toledo MudHens game on Friday, August 1, 2025. We have also arranged for a bus to take us to the game. You can purchase tickets for the game and the bus or tickets for the game only and drive yourself.

Since its inception, Sacred Heart Rosary Makers have made and distributed more than 125,000 Mission Rosaries worldwide! This does not include our fulfillment of requests from hospitals statewide for rosaries. Rosaries are available for purchase every Sunday in the Gathering Space.

The RCIA is the process by which people become members of the Catholic Church. Also known as the Catechumenate, it is a Journey of Faith, a process of growth and conversion that takes place through the proclamation of the Gospel, teaching of Catholic doctrine, and a gradual introduction to the customs and practices of Catholic life.

If one member suffers in the body of Christ which is the Church, all the members suffer with that member’ (1 Corinthians 12:26). Sacred Heart is currently conducting a Capital Campaign to make needed renovations, repairs and improvements to our parish buildings and grounds.

Beginning on Sunday, June 2, our 5:00 PM Mass on Sundays will be held on the front lawn of the Rectory located at 21526 East River Road. Come and celebrate the Eucharist, while enjoying the beauty of our island community. In case of inclement weather, the Mass will be held in St. Anne Chapel.

At Scuba Vacation Bible School, dive into friendship with God! Scuba is filled with awesome Bible-learning experiences kids see, hear, and touch! Hands-on science experiments, team-building games, unforgettable Bible songs, and tasty treats are just a few of the standout activities that help faith flow into real life.

It is that time again! We need many volunteers to make our Summer VBS a success! We are looking for adults and youth grades 6th-12th to spend 4 days with kids Pre-K thru 5th, providing Fun, Faith, Food and Fellowship.

Through the celebration of the sacraments of initiation - Baptism, Confirmation and the Holy Eucharist - we welcomed our Catechumen, John Tringo, and our Candidate, Alex Track, as full members of the Catholic Church.
